    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Acrylic paint applied to a surface doesn't require a sealant but can benefit from it. A sealer approved for use with acrylic paints can help lock the paint to a surface, even out or brighten colors, provide paint protection or help with cleaning. Unused acrylic paint requires a secure container seal to prevent the paint from drying out.
