Keven, She is worshipped in Her own right, with temples. Trust me, I'm in India. She is NOT simply an extension of Vishnu. You show little to no understanding of Hinduism. She is no more just the "consort of Vishnu" than Vishnu is just "the consort of Lakshmi".

I gave you the -5 the day you asked the question (see my answer from the same day). I wouldn't find it hateful, only representative of the ignorance the question shows of Hinduism, and your attempt to make it a patriarchy like the Abrahamic paradigm (or your complete inability to see beyond that paradigm).
