Why is Canada so poor compared to the USA?

    That's because they use socialism too widely. They drain their people through taxes and then give everything away "free", even to non-citizens. See, in Canada, there's about a month's wait to see a doctor, and a couple days if there's an emergency. However, Canadian liberalism has pushed it to the point that non-citizens and illegal aliens receive their medical care BEFORE citizens do!

    I'm really hoping this doesn't happen to us, but I'm afraid it's coming...

    • sorry your wrong about waiting a month to see a doctor ..Canada has almost the same set up as Australia and if you need to see a doctor you can either in hospitals ( where there is always going to be a wait ) or a local G.P. .. just present your Medicare Card and away you go . Yes if you want Elective surgery you may have to wait to have it done but thats about all in most cases. If its an emergency you see a doctor at anytime while if its a broken arm or legs say, you may have to wait a short time but again in 99% of hospitals around the world this happens ...and yes even in Private Hospitals
