sorry your wrong about waiting a month to see a doctor ..Canada has almost the same set up as Australia and if you need to see a doctor you can either in hospitals ( where there is always going to be a wait ) or a local G.P. .. just present your Medicare Card and away you go . Yes if you want Elective surgery you may have to wait to have it done but thats about all in most cases. If its an emergency you see a doctor at anytime while if its a broken arm or legs say, you may have to wait a short time but again in 99% of hospitals around the world this happens ...and yes even in Private Hospitals
