    Feel good legislation.
Dr. King is celebrated as a great leader of the Black race. He was violent and abused white prostutes and white workers of the cause.
Our government think it is best to hide this fact.
The problem with this is people are given a pass for the color of their skin. Makes it bad for the Black people who have worked hard to be someone. People wonder if they are there from hard work or just from a free pass for the race.
How about teaching History, if the person was black or what, mention that to tell others of the race it can be done. The digging up lies or accomplishments just becuase the person is black is a poor choice.
