It was recommended that people reduce or stop the use of nonstick(teflon) cookware as the coating comes off when you heat the pan and it goes into your food. Do you still use non-stick cookware?

There is a greater likelihood that the non-stick spray could pose a health hazard than the Teflon. This is not to say that there's any indication that the sprays do pose any hazard, but Teflon is biologically-inert, while these sprays most likely are not. What this means is that there exists a possibility for these sprays to have some effect on those who ingest them, wghile no such possibility exists with Teflon.
