He really never had one. Please remember that He was born in a time when last names really weren't common. He was simply known as Jesus of Nazareth during the time of His ministry, but as people began to realize that He was the Savior, they began calling him Christ Jesus, where "Christ" is simply a term that means "Savior" or "Redeemer", both of which are very commonly used in Christian religions today. This was evetually turned around to "Jesus the Christ", then as language became more condensed, so did His name. His name is also one of the word contractions found in Spanish (Jesucristo)!

    • Actually bud, Christ is the Anglicization for the Greek word Khristos which is just a translation of the word Masiah (Messiah) which is Hebrew for Anointed. So really its Jesus the Anointed and as some may know, to be anointed just means to have oil or milk or butter or whatnot smeared on you. It just happens to also carry some spiritual significance from various religions that anoint their priesthood and the like.
