  • Husky is a beautiful dog
  • Chesapeake Bay Retriever Why? Extremely smart, extremely loyal, and extremely protective of his/her humans. Beautiful two-texture coat.
  • i love huskies and rotweilers..both my favs
  • I'll have to agree on Husky.
  • Rottweiler.
  • Black Lab
  • Long-hair doxens for a small dog Irish setters for a big dog
  • My favorite dog breed is a cat. (hihi)
  • Siberian Husky I grew up with one as a pet, best dog ever! Although, the breed does come with its own challenges, and isn't good for a first time dog owner. I also like Bernese Mountain Dogs - so cute!
  • Italian Greyhound, they look just like 'proper' geryhounds, only much smaller. The first time I took it out for a walk I felt really stupid, but then when I got to the park and all the girls (I was only about 14 at the time) were handing round with me to stroke the dog I decided I liked it! lol http://www.italian-greyhound.net/
  • Large - Newfoundland Small - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
  • I used to have a beautiful black lab, who was a great friend. He was stolen from my backyard and it took me 14 years to get over it and adopt another puppy.
  • Basset hound
  • American Eskimo, and West highland White terrier, and poms!
  • pomeranians
  • Doberman Pinchers (ears clipped) I like others a lot too but that's my favorite. This is Kawi she hasn't got her ears clipped yet. She's my baby!
  • Golden Retriever. Fantastic all-around dogs, but the AKC has royally screwed up the breed's genetic with all that show-dog inbreeding. There needs to be an infusion of new blood, maybe from the Labrador's or Chesapeake's blood lines, provided they are a decent match for the Golden's coloration, temperment, and water dog qualities.
  • The Pharaoh Hound is a friendly, calm, intelligent, trainable, playful and active breed. It is reserved with strangers, but affectionate with its family. They blush a deep rose when excited. They are clean dogs, shed very little, and have no noticeable odor, even when wet.
  • We had a beautiful, smart, loyal, and loving German Shepherd and I'd do that again.
  • French Bulldog. I love bullie breeds.
  • oscar meyer
  • chocolate labs are the cutest ever
  • Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as well. they are defently the best dogs in the universe. how can anybody not have them as there favorite dog. anybody who doesn't is very wierd
  • I love all dogs. But, I have to say my little Maltese (in the picture)...I am in love with. She is my baby and she knows it. I have had a German Sheppard, Min Pin, poodle. I have all loved just as much.
  • A golden retriever, beautiful dogs with a lovely temperment and great around kids. I own one of course.
  • Pitbull. Looks tough and acts tough, maybe a bit too tough.
  • I loove Huskies....border collies are great dogs too..so smart, loyal, and adorable. I like Westies too, they have so much character. :)
  • None, Dogs are Godless killing machines. Just kidding, I'm actually kind of nervous around dogs I don't know very well. So I avoid them for the most part.
  • Border Collies and Boxers.
  • When I was growing up a neighbor girl had a Lhasa Apso named Bootsie. She was a such a fun little furry black dog. I loved how she would get up on her back legs and do this funny dance moving her front legs. I like this breed as well as Shih Tzu. Big dogs are overwhelming, this is me trying to control a very expensive pure bred Yellow Lab with a very strong sense of self.
  • German Shepards.
  • Shi-tzu
  • A chocolate Labrador as well.
  • Labs .. intelligent.. loyal ..good natured.. I love em
  • rottwieller.
  • I have a shetland sheepdog so i would have to say thier my favorite breed :) he's even the one in the picture
  • A yellow lab or a well trained German Shepard. These are the dogs that I remember from my youth and they were my friends. They both make good pets.
  • I'm more of a cat person but my Mum has lurchers and they are the greatest dogs ever. They're greyhounds crossed with something else and just generally really beautiful and shiny and friendly (if a bit dim) You can sponsor them here: www.lurcher.org.uk
  • Any dog breed can be wonderful.Every dog has their own personality and they may say this dog is known for these traits etc..but i have found that they are like people and have their own personality. My Golden retriever is more of a guard dog. Thats like assuming every nationality is going to act the same way because one white person,Chinese,Native American or what ever acted a certain way then they all do.
  • French Bulldogs of course!
  • Iggies and Dachshunds :) Here are my two Italian Greyhounds and my two Doxies
  • Rat Terriers, however they are not well suited for very young children. They are very possessive of their territory and they tend to pick out one person in the family and that is where their loyalty is. At least that is what I have found to be true and I have had many of these dogs. BTW, These are not my dogs, they are pretty though.
  • I'm afraid I love just about all of them. Training over the past 30 years, I've gotten to work with so many outstanding personalities. Purebreds, and Mutts, big and small, males and females. When I look into those beautiful eyes and see that willing personality, or watch a shy dog learn to trust people again, or see some total goof-ball learn to settle down and start working as a team with the humans...it just fills my heart with joy. Hannah, my current Doggie girl a second generation Shepsky (GSD/Husky)
  • staffordshire bull terriiers. they are so cute and effectionate. there as been a lot of stories in papers recently about dogs attacking people but you shouldnt tie all dogs with the same brush. just because one human being is a murderer does that make us all murderers? no so why because a dog attacks someone does that make them all the same (sorry it just makes me really angry) anyway back to the subject i have 2 staffies and they are trained well and if you train any dog from being little pups you can make them a good dog. all you need to remember is they are dogs and treat them with the respect they deserve and you will a lovely dog :0)
  • I've got a Rottweiler.She has diabetes
  • Friendly, loving ones. (That's most of them.)
  • Wiener dogs they are so funny looking.
  • bull dog they are so cute
  • I have a red dobe. He's 1 1/2 and boy is he pain in the rump, well sometimes. He is the most loving dog. He craves attention. He has sooooo much energy and is so smart. From the day I got him at 9 weeks old I had to leave him to go to work for 8 hours and I left him with a bunch of newspapers, because what 9 week old puppy wouldn't have an accident? Well he didn't go! Never has had an accident while I've been gone since he was 9 weeks old. Man did I luck out with that! Smartest dog, but VERY demanding.
  • great dane
  • Irish Setters. They are so sweet and friendly. Not to mention beautiful, dogs.
  • great dane anyone else agree
  • Italian Greyhounds our so cute! http://dailypuppy.com/index.php?itemid=744
  • Rottweilers. I've had mine for 6 years - they are so loyal & adorable, they're such clowns. Mine always has its head on my lap or is resting against my leg, & always follows me from room to room to make sure I'm okay. Best breed ever!
  • A Chocolate Lab. They're smart, friendly, and energetic. They also have a beautiful colored coat.
  • My favorite breed is the on i curently one the Scottish Terrier. I adore my cutie pie. But also growing up with a Dalmatian i have to say both. The Dalmatian is a big dog but so sweet and loyal. I adore both breeds. PS: Both dogs in the picture belong to me. Sacha the Dalmatian passed away last year at the age of 12 :( Nena the Scottie in curently 6 months old.
  • Schipperkes!
  • Greyhounds, actually that should be GREATHOUNDS! Calm, relaxed, affectionate, loyal, excellent companions, shed very little, have very little body odour, and make all round quiet pets. I have an ex-racer and a never raced. Could not ask for a better companion. They are not 'bright little dynamos' in learning things or obedience schooling, but once the idea takes hold they don't forget easily.
  • shar pei
  • St. Bernard. They're just awesome.
  • I have alot of poodle dogs so poodles would be my favorite. The picture that i am using for my avatar is one of the poodle dogs I have. Her name is Sequin.
  • the Staffordshire Bull Terrier , I know people say there dangerous but there not , its how the owner treats them , punish the deed not the breed.
  • Mixed-breed dogs. I particularly enjoy how unique each one is. While there are thousands of black-and-white border collies, or of yellow Labradors, or sable-and-white shelties, or black and tan Rottweilers, mixed breeds almost always look like no other dog on earth. Next favorite--blue merle Australian Shepherds or blue merle Border Collies.
  • I love all dogs, but my favorites are Dobermans,Rottweilers,Pitbulls,Neaopolitan Mastffs, and Cane Corsos. All dogs I would want in the future*not at the same time* French Mastiffs German Shepherds are favorables too. I myself have a Doberman and a Yorkshire terrier. • Whippets. End of!

  • Husky and Border Collie.
  • I like the Irish Wolfhounds. They are great companions on walks in the wild. I once saw my neighbor's wolfhound 'stand his ground' with a blackbear that was in his yard. Very bold for such an affectionate dog.
  • Dauchsand (spelling) are amazing...stubborn but very smart.
  • German Shepherd, Borzoi Hound
  • Labradors, hands down :) They're friendly, energetic, and loving. And gorgeous, to boot! They're great with kids and other dogs, and very smart. I've never come across a breed that I liked better!
  • Maltese. I didn't care for dogs at all until I got my first dog Michi, a Maltese Terrier(yes they are terriers). He is four pounds and is about 10 months old and I wouldn't trade him for anything! I Love Him and I love the Breed!
  • Shitzu
  • That would have to be the American Pit Bull. Although they get plenty of bad talk about them, i know for a fact it is not true. I have been a Pit Bull lover my whole life! Please visit myspace.com/savethepitbulls
  • husky's all the way
  • Australian Shepherds!!
  • My very favorites are the Huskey (so cute) and the black lab.
  • Welsh Corgis!! I also really like Great Danes, Mastiffs and Saint Bernards, but they are all really large, so I will probably never have any of those.

  • defentily St. bernards they are friendly great with kids an will always be there to portect there owners.
  • ariesms2u There Is Nothing Like A Dane - Great Dane, that is! They are Grrrrrreat with children, protective of Their House including the front and back yards of said property and ALL of the inhabitants in the house. They have a cute sense of humor and give as much love, if not more than they receive. They are intelligent and learn the house rules very quickly. If they have done something wrong, a stern manner will be as effective as a slap on their rear end and they will quickly react showing you the hurt in their eyes. I have had a Great Dane in my household since I was 5-1/2 and am approaching 70 in March. I wouldn't have anything else.
  • i love bulldogs, boxers dobermans pitbulls,,pomeranian, but i have a american eskimo chihuahua mix shes adorable.
  • Akitas. Had 2, Zeus and Shogun. Baddest dogs on the planet in my opinion.
  • My Austrailian Cattle Dogs: these guys are also called Blue Heelers , mine are very high energy dogs that will get bored quickly if not given a job to do , they love to play frisbee and can snatch a frisbee out of the air very fast and at a great altitude.
  • Jack Russel Terrier (it's what I have) or Dalmation (my uncle has one, it's stupid but generally good)
  • bichon frise! lol
  • Wiener dog!
  • Beagles and Labrador Retrievers
  • First, German Shepherd. Close second, Rottweiler
