Appropriate underwear - or wear of some sort - can be far sexier. Especially stuff which *looks* as if its about to fall off. Anticipation is much more sexy than deliver - hence the strip tease. Get the maximum amount of time before the final reveal, because once you have reached that point, erm, that's it.

Skimpy underwear. The anticipation of your partner being almost naked is better than actually being naked. That's why there is such a thrill at the simple flash of panties below the hem of a girls skirt.

Being a nudist, naked isn't that sexey. Now hide things just a little lets the imagination go wild which is what they are designed to do...so skimpy underware is much more sexey.
