First of all, this isn't a rediculous question. It's fits under its catagory... SEXUAL ACTS! OK, I would say there needs to be at least 5 people. 3somes and 4somes are common and occur within certain lifestyles, like swingers. Say a couple bringing in one person or another couple. Any more than that gets a bit more complicated, so I think that's when it's an orgy... Technically, an orgy is the act of group sex. But the word group is fairly subjective. So it can't be definitive.
