  • What an opportunity that would be. If you want to study Japanese MA, then Japan is of course, one of the best places to do it, IF you can get there. While you are there it would also behoove you to find a Koryu Bujutsu art (Ninjutsu is not Koryu) and study there, since it's very hard (virtually impossible) to get good instruction in classical Japanese MA outside of Japan. My training is dominated by the study of European Martial Arts, but if I weren't doing that, and could go to Japan, I'd probably go for Katori Shinto Ryu. Enjoy! :)
