What is the best adhesive for installing a marble saddle at the threshold of a brownstone. Please give recommendations for attaching to plywood, stone and cement sub-floors.

A clear silicone would do the job but how about trying gorilla Glue? It's supposed to be the strongest adhesive out there. Personally I never leave the house without it!
