  • Not necessarily. Some people are very humble and quite content with the status quo.
  • The only thing I want more of is you.;-)
  • Yes. I think it's the original curse born. Before, the legend goes, we had everything provided for us...it was ALL good. Then, we learned to recognize "evil" where it never existed before. So we've become eternally cursed with never being satisfied with the good that we have.
  • Yes but that's good and bad, depending on what you're talking about. More love in the world, more concern, more equality, more compassion, all good; more waste, more war, more hatred - there's enough already.
  • I think it is just a feedback mechanism. As long as you have the impression that it is better for you to get more, you will want more. Unfortunately, in some cases the feedback mechanism does not work as it should. For instance, the effect of a particular thing (money, drug, power) could make you think that you need more of it, whereas it actually destroys you. If we better understand what is taking place, or if we have a good intuition, we can avoid those traps. It is our own interest to know where we have to stop wanting more.
  • Unfortunatly, yes. I have noticed that, even though I have moved up though companies, and become more successful, I still crave more.
