  • It doesn't. One is not contingent on the other being untrue.
  • How can one disprove evolution when it has been proven beyond doubt over centuries? As far as creation theory goes...evolution does not in any way preclude the existence of a supreme being, who made all things possible-even the continual evolution of all life. These are facts proven time and time again, and seem to be only disputed by groups or religions with the sole objective of control over their followers or believers. I believe there are grounds for the basic and broad belief in both theories co-existing in harmony. The interpretation of any written books from ancient times must always be put in the perspective that they were written, usually second-hand,(never by the person proclaiming those ideas),and were done so in the language and idiom of the day,i.e. stories that convey a meaning to the people of the day in the way they understood. As mankind progresses and evolves, our understanding of our own existence and of what practices are best for the survival of our species also grow-despite some backward steps.Being closed-minded on such subjects,I believe, only serves to demonstrate ignorance, greed,power...or a combination of all these.

  • By disproving it as the reason for Origin.
  • Well, Jerv, no doubt you've been awaiting this answer. So here, probably, somewhat surprisingly to yourself, it is: My ANSWER, Jerv is that IT DOESN'T! Simply because you disprove one belief in life does not mean that another must be true. Ideas for how we came to be, if you read the various scriptures that are now available to us on earth, you will find histories of various previous theories and ideas over 1000's of years. Satan works in all sorts of ideas to confuse; indigenous people's have their traditions and fables. The ancient Orient had its own fables. Satan is the Master of Confusion - this is why the snake equates with him ... also, because the snake comes in all sorts of complex varieties; the only (believed) creature of more variety is the lizard! Jesus effectively answered this very issue when He said, in effect, "Strait is the gate and narrow the way that leads unto life eternal and few there be that go in thereat, but because wide is the gate and Broad the way that leads unto death, many there be that go in thereat." It is not the disproof of evolution itself that constitutes any proof of Creation, it is the actual tools and evidence cited in any disproof that determine whether one has simultaneously proven Creation. Good luck with it, and God's speed.
