  • If you recently bought it most probably is still on warranty. As no noises should come from the TV (besides the ones out of the speaker) you should enforce your warranty as soon as possible. Even if the TV is working fine, there is no way to know if that high pitched noises will evolve in something worse, or even permanently damaging the TV. If your TV is still under warranty, most probably the store will replace the TV and send the old one to the factory to be fixed. Fixing TVs ain't cheap...so do not let your warranty expire.   • One of the things that makes a buzzing noise in a tv that is not in the speakers, is the color wheel. It is in the componet box that houses the lamp.
  • It's ready to fail as the capacitors are overheating. Get it repaired NOW if you don't want a busted TV.
