I think male cats who still have their equipment have no use for "wet dreams", because they go around spraying their mess onto everything to mark their territory while they're awake.

My 4 month old un-neutered male cat definitely DOES have wet dreams. On several occassions I have witnessed it usually within a few minutes of him going asleep. You will see his hind legs making jerking movements every few seconds. Each time I then pet his head to calm him down and he opens his eyes and he looks like he's on drugs! (lol). He then spreads his rear legs to lick himself and there are small droplets around his groin area and his cone-shaped penis is sticking out 3/4 of an inch or so. He then proceeds to lick his penis and the general area and then nods off back to sleep. Slightly freaky thing to observe, especially the first time!
