Success is a matter of opinion, to me I am successful but others might see my life as an abject failure.

Me!!! just not believing in myself, i've had a few knocks over the years and i dont handle them with such flipancy anymore, hence loosing my nerve :)

Lack of self confidence.

My age. I'm in my mid-twenties, and a director of ops for a billion dollar company. At first, I had a hard time getting people to take me seriously. After only a few months, I have no problem with it.

Probably indecision and lack of confidence.

Success is relative. Having survived to my present age with all the experiences I have had, and all the friends and loved ones I have retained, with the good health I still enjoy....I think I have been pretty successful. Failures and disappointments? Many. Successes....also many.

Starting a family at a young age. I don't consider it a barrier but maybe a detour. Besides, I'm enjoying being a mommy so my career will have to wait for me.

I've been quite successful with starting a family, and I'm really happy about that, though that would be my "barrier" for financial success, but as Stormy said, I don't really consider it a barrier. In 3 years all of my kids will be in school, and I'll be able to finish up college for my nursing degree, its just on hold for now.
