Yes! One (or 2, or 3) glasses of wine always helps me to relax.

I only drank a couple of occasions when I was home on vacation from college and it was terrible that next day. I don't not know why there was a large stain of coffee on my pants. They told me that they gave me a cup of hot coffee to sober me up but I spilled it all over my pants. But I did not feel a thing though.

Yes, but. The paradox is this: If one drinks because one feels badly, then it will have the opposite effect, at least for me. In other words, the drinking of alcohol is not a remedy for emotional problems- As a matter of fact, it is the harbinger of worse things to come. It is not the alcohol (or the cigrette, pot or whatever), it is your relationship to it that determines whether it is innocuous or damaging...
-
No, but it certainly makes HER look better! LOL
-
No. A few drinks leads to more drinks and then you find yourself drunk and then you do not care at all. I do not like that feeling. I feel i have no control over my actions.
-
Not me....even one drink is something that I will regret in a couple of hours.
-
Not for me, but it might for an alcoholic. "Just a few drinks, that's all I need." Next thing you know.....
-
yes a couple of drinks lightens my mood, my troubles are laughed at, as long as it is only a couple
-
If I already feel good, I will drink a couple of beers, and it will make me feel even better. I avoid alcohol when I am feeling down. Alcohol is a depressant, and only makes the problems seem worse.
-
sure until I started having them before the sun came up. then it got to be a problem :(
-
It used to when I was self medicating with alcohol for the chronic anxiety I felt at the time.
-
A few drinks can do wonders but getting s--t-faced isn't going to help anything. A little something to take the edge off and relax is very good. You just need to know when to stop.
-
Yes..alcohol is a great relaxer for me. I enjoy having some wine while I'm fixing dinner..serve wine with dinner for Jim, but once I start eating I don't really enjoy it as much. However, I would not use it to cover up great anxiety or anything like that on a regular basis..that is to say, a glass of wine each day is one thing..4-6 drinks a day is entirely different!:)
-
definately, but too many makes me feel worse
-
a few brewskis always help alittle
-
That's what a few drinks are for, isn't it... ahaha =)
-
hell yeah!
-
Not really... I talk to much in the first place, drinks just make me dance and talk till my face turns blue.
-
Yeah some days ! Well I only know about wine ... not the others.
-
A couple MGD's will always help to take the edge off when I have had a long day. No more than that or else the kids will have a really weird and creative dinner!
-
I don't know about all of that, but drinking always immediately makes me feel like I have to do a #1.
-
depends on how depressed i am...if i'm super depressed it makes me worse...to the point where i want to go to bed...if i'm angry...i become the happiest person on earth..i think...idk..it's been a while since i drank...
-
Hell yes. a lot of times it relax the hell out of me. But you are talking to a person who loves to drink!
-
If I'm feeling good already it's fun to get a buzz, but alcohol has never been my friend. Never made me forget my problems, etc. Just never worked for me.
-
Sometimes, yeah... I dont drink a lot now, but a glass of wine here and there is never a bad thing.
-
Yes.
-
Yep...only if I've had a really really crappy day.
-
A few drinks (usually beer) mellows me out and relaxes me. I admit I used to drink a lot more and get drunk sometimes, but that is a rare occasion now. I don't like how I feel the next day (and I'm getting too old for that crap!).

I would be lying if I said no. So, yes!
