Are there any major lakes or rivers in the Bahamas?

NO rivers ... just man made canals and on New Providence Island i know of Lake Nancy (GREAT FOR CANOEING) , Lake Killarny & Lake Cuttingham ... we also have a pond called "Big Pond" and LOTS of mangrove swamps

It's just a collection of small islands. Apart from the small lakes as previously mentioned, nope!
