Certainly, if there weren't some people who didn't like me I would just be faking it. You really can't please everyone and you are just fooling yourself if you try.
-
Of course. I've offended people accidentally on situations, even lost a few friends here and there as I grew up. As Heath Ledger once said.. "Why so serious?" and "It's all...part of the...plan". Cheers.
-
Oh yeah. You can't please everybody.
-
I stake my reputation on it.
-
Definitely!
-
I have...... ;)
-
I used to care a lot, but now I don't care.
-
Actually, no, I'm not good at that. At the very least, I try to get to the root of why I'm disliked and see if I can't work out a compromise.
-
Yes, no one is liked by everyone. If you are wasting your time being bothered by the one person sho doesnt like you, then you are not spending that time enjoying the ones that do like you :)
-
It used to bother me considerably if someone disliked me. It doesn't now, but I still like to know why!
-
If I like them but they don't like me, it's sometimes not easy to deal with. If we just plain don't like each other then things pretty much cancel each other out in my view and I'm not bothered by it.
-
yes i can if people dont like me that is there problem!
-
No, honestly, I can't. I guess that I'm so self-centered that I figure, well, why wouldn't anyone not like me? I'm nice, I'm a people pleaser, and I'm humorous. What's there not to like? It just wouldn't seem logical. It's like saying you don't like... awesome stuff. I'm not that great, and I don't think of myself to be that great, but it just wouldn't make sense. There's my honesty.
-
No. it really gets my panties all in a bunch. It just gnaws at me that someone out there doesn't find me to be the brilliant, charming, gorgeous, witty, and humble creature that i really truly am.
-
It really bothers me if someone doesn't like me. I have to find out what went wrong; if I made a mistake, or they misinterpereted something I said. It makes me sad... :(
-
Yes. It's called not giving a fuck.
-
Absolutely, especially if it is because I stand up for what I believe in.
-
if it's because of my personality and my beliefs [politically or socially or religiously speaking], of course. if it's because of anything phyisical or racial, i can tolerate it only because i'd prefer not to be around some ignorant fool anyways.
-
I can if they have a good reason.
-
Because I am just like that, I cannot accept not being liked. I am the kind of person that wants to be liked by everyone. But maybe I can sort of adjust to it. Mind you, I'll probably feel uncomfortable still about it.
-
Yes, now that I am older much more so.
-
why? what have you heard?
-
I do it every day. Of course I try to respect everyone but no matter what I do, there's going to be someone who's not going to like me. And if it requires me to go beyond my limits, it's not my problem.
-
Some people, you can say, "I like you, I am going to give you a hundred dollars." They'll get mad because you didn't give them a thousand. I don't know of anyone that being disliked does not bother them. There is always something there. I quickly learned to keep my distance from people.
-
As long as is not people that I love such as family members. Otherwise it will kind of bother me but I can accept it.
