• No. They are genetic. All this will do is make them smell/taste lemony.
  • NO, freckles are the skins response to UVA/B rays burning the skin. In most people the response is uniform browing as the skin pigmentation changes to protect itself. In people with freckles the response is scattered or localised resulting in a 'spotty' response. The only way to reduce freckles is to reduce the skins exposure to sunlight. Always use suncream with a high protection factor, long sleeved shirts and long pants to protect the skin, wear a hat, stay out of the sun when it is at it's most intense - usually between (about)10 am and 3 pm (depending where on the planet you are), and if you need to be out, then stick to the shade as much as possible. If you already have freckles this will cause them to fade over time, otherwise if they really bother you I would suggest a good makeup to reduce their visibility.
  • What if you want to have a tan, but not have freckles. is there anyway to reduce the darkness of freckles, even if you can't completely get rid of them, but still get a tan? I like to look healthy; if I don't get at least a small amount of sun exposure, I look like Wednesday Addams. But as soon as I get in the sun, I am completely covered with freckles on my face, and it looks hideous! Any suggestions?
  • No it doesn't. I tried it. Nothing reduces freckles.
  • Treat your facial freckles to a mask of honey and lemon juice. Just mix equal parts honey and lemon juice and apply evenly to the face (avoid the eyes). Leave on 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. The lemon juice acts as a mild bleaching agent. Step2 Wash your face with sour milk or sour cream. The lactic acid will gently bleach your freckles. Step3 Incorporate more Vitamin C into your diet. Strawberries, oranges, bell peppers and broccoli are all rich in Vitamin C. This vitamin is vital for keeping your skin healthy. 1 Wear sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher every single day. The sun is your enemy when you want to reduce freckles.
