Frames are vintage horn rimmed possibly from Allyn Scura Eyewear. Frames worn in the movie "The Secret Window" were called Tart Arnell from this supplier and his own frames are very similar. Now thats an answer not like the other one . They may as well have answered "I dont know".

After alot of research it is actualy a "Pathway" "Challenger" It is no longer made they were made in the late 50's through the 60's .The tart Arnell was a copy of the challenger.I bought my pair on craigslist.

"Pathway" "Challenger" is a little different from the glasses that Johny wears. Tart 'Arnel' is exactly what he wears. At that time there're lots of similar glassses close to each other, so you can't say that he tart Arnell was a copy of the challenger and which one is original or whatever. But Johny's a TART, no doubt about it,

After looking at MANY pictures of Depp it is clear he is wearing MOSCOT LEMTOSH. Some features that make this noticable are at the bridge. Some Tart Arnel are stright across at the point where the bridge of the nose would hit the bridge of the glasses. The Moscot has a rounded curve at the top...similar to the ones Depp wears. At the top of the bridge is the same thing, many Tart Arnel are stright across while the Moscot have a slight notch on eaither side of the bridge and then go across...like Depps. While I have seen the vintage Tart Arnel's with the curved features, the TA have different hardware at the temple. Without question, Depp is wearing the Moscot Lemtosh.
