  • Strippers have to pay taxes - yes, what they do falls under adult entertainment. Most strip clubs the strippers get a small amount hourly but the bulk of their money comes from tips, pretty much like waitresses. I am not quite sure about the welfare part but I honestly would say no as a veteran/experienced stripper can pull in 80K and higher a year.
  • Not sure what welfare has to with being a stripper. But yes they pay taxes and are supposed to claim their tips (I SAID TIPS) too. There is a case that came before the Tax Court wherein a stripper wanted to deduct the cost of her breast augmentation as a work expense. Studio audience says.....court agreed!
  • They get paid for their work, so they pay taxes. By welfare, I assume you mean public assistance. Most strip clubs actually pay well. And besides wages they get tips. So I assume they can live pretty well from what they earn. I don't think they qualify for Food Stamps.

  • in Canada when you strip your the only one who holds on to your lap dancing money, so you dont have to pay taxes if you dont want to, and if you dont claim anything then you could get welfare. but if you strip you dont need it.
