What?! its not close to ending, we've just been given the revelation of who the supposed final "bad guy" really is. The latest revelations are just starting to shed light on the real underlying motives for all the characters. This makes me think that the end is in sight but we have only just started moving toward it. Also, Naruto must master control on nine-tails before the end, he can do 2 now and goes insane at 3. Some more level-up is required before we'll see an end. The anime series just drags it on and on, i don't expect that to end this decade.

Yes, naruto does appear to be drawing to a close, but the end might not be as nigh as everyone thinks. After all, Kishimoto loves this series and he is not about to throw some stupid plot twists in there and maybe a few good battles and let the series and its fans go to pot. Mainly, there are 3 forces in the show. Naruto's (including konoha ninja), Akatsuki's (Pein, konan, and remaining members), and Sasuke's (Itachi, Madara/tobi/obito, and maybe whoever Sasuke chooses to start over the clan with, who may or may not be Sakura Haruno). My thinking is this: The uchihas are most likely going to join together (as Itachi might already be recruiting Sasuke for Madara) and try to take out or take control of the Akatsuki's tailed beast stash, which might involve a dead heat with Pein and konan. After all, Tobi (Madara in Obito's body perhaps) is the leader, having outranked Pein and his rinnegan. This might cause the uchihas to use Naruto's fox demon as a puppet,for the mangekyo sharingan can control, suppress the fox chakra, and maybe even manipulate Naruto into a puppet. However, I think that they will either force Naruto to go all out with as many tails as he can muster againts Pein or whoever and then rein him back in before things get hairy. After all, with the mangekyo's fox manipulation abilities (even if one or two of them are blind, leaning on Sasuke's non mangekyo eyes to watch Naruto), the fox is little more than a lion in a cage being whipped by the uchiha.

well Mastercheif if you forgot all the Uchiha clanmembers except for Itachi and Sasuke were all massacred by Itachi. and also there is no direct proof since Tobi just said he was Madara( I do support both theories that he is and isn't till there is more proof, but I mainly side more with the fact that Sasuke will obtain Uchiha Madara's powers and Tobi like Itachi had a small bit of his power. In the last few fights I could probably see there fights lasting a good couple episodes, each especially all of Pein's battles, except for when he fought Jiraiya(2episodes top), but I say, since the manga is slowly getting to a close and the anime is just getting to the big Sasuke v. Oro fight, I say the anime could be finished in a near 150-200episodes(not counting filler episodes which i dont see happening for a good while).

I really like naruto and i hope it will never end like every one else but i think that if it ends it will end with a war hopefully, and if they do have a war i hope that rock lee and guy die (only because i don't like them and all my friends like them)

Until it successfully becomes an embarassment to anime. Oh wait! That's already happened. The really good stuff is never too long. But this is just my opinion. The Naruto series is long-winded.

I'm not watching this anime.A friend of mine who does told me that half of the naruto is fillers,not episodes from the manga and that's what destroys it. If you like anime try one piece and death note.They are the best in my opinion.One piece is both fun and includes great fights.Death note is plainly awesome (well until L dies,that is)

til they stop making it one piece has been on longer than naruto so it probably has many more fillers than naruto

naruto has a long way to go still... the manga is way ahead of the anime, like more than 100 episodes ahead, and the manga still has a lot to go too. there are many unanswered questions right now in the manga and sasuke also has to return or at least face naruto again since that's what the series is built on- sasuke and naruto's friendship
