About 6 hours by plane I think. When I flew to London, it took a little longer due to high wind conditions.

If I started walking right now, I should be drowned by Friday....

I could drive there in about 10 hours or about 6 hours on a train (I am just guessing because I have never been)

About 14 hours by air if I don't have to stop somewhere on the way. Have me a bourbon on the rocks or whatever you're having waiting. Thanks.

I live about 2h from the airport, 2h check in, 2h flight to Glasgow Prestwick. So, 6 hours all in all and I might just be doing that exact trip in a few months!

Hmm...Let's see...two hours to New York, with no lay-over(?) (not likely), and six hours more across the pond. Conceivably, nine to ten hours. "I'll take the high road,.... and I'll be in Scotland afore ye".

Um, about 6 hours in the car I think. I'm in Yorkshire....

Hm... 18 - 20 hour drive to JFK airport... probably three hours in the airport, one more sitting in the plane... six hour flight (probably with a stopover at Heathrow, which would add another hour to the sitting-in-the-plane time) Yeah... it'd be a two-day ordeal.

If I fly direct it's about four and a half hours to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

my niece live in Oban, she drive down to Penzance on 10-sh hours so it is possible - the motorways that side of the country are great - it's the London side are such crap! (gawd bless the M25 J8...) which is why it would take me about 3 days!!
