  • I am looking for a charger like this also. I have one and will give you the specs, but I need another the same size for a small ipod set of speakers. I went to http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers/products/IMfree/downloads/IMfree_User_Manual_E.pdf, but didn't find much specific info there. My charger reads: vtech component telephone power supply class 2 Model No. U090020D12 INPUT: AC117V 60 Hz 4W OUTPUT: DC9V 200mA Vtech Communications Ltd.
  • Found it on ebay but it's high? http://cgi.ebay.com/AC-DC-Power-Supply-Adaptor-Adapter-9V-9VDC-200MA_W0QQitemZ180182534087QQihZ008QQcategoryZ50588QQcmdZViewItem Think I only paid $25 for the whole Motorola MX240a. VTECH AC/DC ADAPTOR MODEL: 280902003C0 INPUT: AC 117V 60HZ 4W OUTPUT: DC 9V 200MA CENTER CONDUCTOR IS POSITIVE This adapter has been tested and is in working condition. • I did find a page at Motorola where you can contact Motorola for support, no luck at the Vtech page. I sent them an email. http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers/support/default.asp?SupportSection=PeripheralsAccessories
  • Nelson, Do you know where this kind of warehouse is online? Professor
  • I guess to answer my own question, after spending 45 minutes on hold with motorola, i found out that the charger specs are 9vdc, 300ma, Pin positive.. Fortunatly, very common.
  • Nelson L. Squeeko Nov, 28 2007 at 04:30 AM One option you have for getting a charger is going to a large electronics warehouse and looking through their assortment of AC to DC adaptors. Find one that has a DV 9V, 200mA (or 0.2A) Output. You can hope it also has the same end as your need, or you can cut off the current end and put on the end that you need. If your not sure how to do this, you can probably find someone you know that can do it for you.
