Yes there are Woolworths stores all over South Africa but they are actually the same as UK Marks and Spencer (they sell St Michael clothes and food)

There used to be Woolworths all over California. I loved going there with my mom. They used to have a eating counter where you could get simple food, like diners, and I would be treated to an ice cream for being a good girl while my mom did lots of shopping. But that was years and years ago. I haven't seen a Woolworths in over 20 years. Well, I haven't been a little girl in years and years LOL!!

There was one in Chambersburg, PA when I moved there in 1997, but it went out of business shortly thereafter.

They had one in seattle,wa. but just as everyone else has indicated...it disappeared...i miss woolworths.

I remember going to Woolworths when I was a kid (in Michigan). I haven't seen one in about 15 years, though...that one was in Tacoma Washington.
