A man who is spiritually and mentally happy.

A man who does not desire more than he has. Throughout time the standard for "wealth" keeps going up higher and higher to the point that who was considered a rich man two hundred years ago is considered a poor man by today's standard. But having little is not what truly makes a man poor, but desiring what he does not have.

A define a rich man as one who is happy in life. I think it has less to do with money and more to do with respect, love and the amount of trust others put in him. A man could have wealth he may never spend and be the poorest man on earth. There are somethings money just can not buy.

The most important men in town would come to fawn on me! They would ask me to advise them, Like a Solomon the Wise. "If you please, Reb Tevye..." "Pardon me, Reb Tevye..." Posing problems that would cross a rabbi's eyes! And it won't make one bit of difference if i answer right or wrong. When you're rich, they think you really know! If I were rich, I'd have the time that I lack To sit in the synagogue and pray. And maybe have a seat by the Eastern wall. And I'd discuss the holy books with the learned men, several hours every day. That would be the sweetest thing of all. If I were a rich man, Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum. Someone who's able to provide for his needs and of his family without having to lick the ass of his boss.

To me "rich" is having happiness in your heart and mind.

I think, in my opinion, we all can be rich, but rich in many different ways; again, is all depending on each individual's own definition of that concept. The most common definition of this concept, which seems to pop in many-if not most-people's mind as soon as you mention the word, seems to be associated with money and all the material things that can be purchased with it. Surely that's one kind of richness definition--and perhaps the most popular--but certainly not the only one. Monetarily I'm OK, but not even close to consider myself rich. But I'm "rich" in knowledge and I'm rich spiritually. Who can tell me I'm not rich?

For me a Rich man is he who is happy today with contentment, compassion and love towards all living beings.

A man who is loved by many. A little money in his pocket wouldnt hurt too. <wink>

A rich man is a man who loves life and sees the magic. He has many friends, is free to be himself, has enough money to get by and looks forward to tomorrow.

If you are talking money, a rich person has liquid assets that are around what that person would spend in fifty years. For example, if your needs are around $100K ayear, I would not consider you rich unless you had access to about $5 million.

I find a rich person to be someone who makes more than they spend. Meaning anyone who is actually able to save regularly without it affecting their way of life is rich. At least financially.

Not necessarily money wise. A rich man has a lot of something. You can be rich with happiness, luck, money, etc. When I was little I asked my parents if we were rich and they said, "yes, we are rich because we have you, your brother, and your sister".

Some callous prick who puts down others who have little, by boasting of having worked hard for what he's got, when really Mumsy and Dadsy gave it to him.

Mr Pants hates rich people. Mr Pants isnt a woman, so he is free to hate all he wants. Mr Pants also likes to stereotype and generalize, and often without wearing pants at all. Mr Pants once did gardening without pants, but the police agreed that I wont discuss that anymore. *blink* Would you like to do some gardening? Alrighty then. Walk right this way! No no, leave your pants here, you wont be needing them outside, it's all natural! Hello Officer Dickhead! How's your wife today? Oh yes, she died. I keep forgetting. Well, this is my friend. He wants to do some nude gardening today. Will that be okay? Well, you cant arrest him till he actually takes them off (Psst. Go ahead, take them off, I know a good lawyer, and that he has a gay lover down at the precinct house.
