a unit an hour leaves your system.
-
A usual rule of thumb is that you get rid of 1 unit - a small glass of wine or half a pint of beer - per hour. However, don't depend on this. It depends both on body mass (large people have more body to burn off the booze) and metabolism (women tend to get rid of it slightly slower).
-
what is a 'hal pint' of beer?How many ounces?
-
The body can metabolize about a drink an hour for the average person. (Drink = 1.5 oz of alcohol, 5 oz of wine or 12 oz of beer) How do I know? I just had to pass the state DMV written exam, and that was one of the questions. :o) [I got it right.]

it depends on how much you drink, in what amount of time....and it all depends on your bmi (body mass index) fat absords alcohol for longer than lean mass;

You burn about 1 drink per hour.

It doesn't leave you until you leave it!
-
Your supposed to wait 12 hours after your last drink before you can leagally drive without being over the limit! but it takes the liver approx 36 hours for it to be completely free of the alcohol (and I mean completely!!!)
-
It takes one hour per drink an hour to metabolize.
-
