How do I install a 'crack' for a pc game?

First of all, using a crack is legal as long as you own the software. What you do is you right-click on the normal shortcut and click properties. See the "Target" line? Go there in Explorer. Copy & paste the crack into the Target folder. When prompted if you want to replace the file (you'll see), say yes. For example, say I have a crack for Fraps, I would right-click, go to Properties, and see C:Frapsfraps.exe in the target line. I go to C:Fraps, copy the crack and put it in that folder. When it asks me, I say yes I want to replace the file.
