I've seen YouTube videos of Christian missionaries preaching in Israel. Some if not many Christians get humiliated by cunning rabbis on the streets. They say Jesus is not the King of the Jews. Without a serious interpretation, the Hosea passage dismantles Christianity.
  • This was predicting Israel's captivity, and there rebellion from God in making sacred things pagan idols, with David in context you have to read Jeremiah which speaks of a branch of David, being the Messiah.
  • 10/22/2023, when tough questions arise, Romans 10:11 tells us Christians, anyone who believes in Jesus will never be put to shame. Hosea 3:4-5 speaks of the "latter days." It is a prophesied passage of the children of Israel who were in disperse by the Roman expulsion of Judaism. Jeremiah 32:37 says God will gather His people from all countries, and bring them back to what is now the country of Israel once again. When Christian missionaries preach the Gospel in Israel, it may seem pointless to preach Jesus to God's elect - the Jews, as they are convinced by Hosea 3:4-5, that David is their king, and not Jesus. For this matter... John 1:11 "He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him." Until now, the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. (1 Corinthians 1:18): https://youtu.be/VCnNf8YSYFk?si=GD9ptqj_jEvRJZZl Just because Jesus in whom Christians know as the King of the Jews and the Prince of peace was not received by His own people, preaching the Gospel in Israel is not easy: https://youtube.com/shorts/vio53jUpJz0?si=-ORR-yBwR06E-Jbv This is the same hate Jesus had to deal with 2000 years ago: https://youtube.com/shorts/sUJrXNCfUrk?si=YwUy-iz-FVfdGS5W There is hope though, Revelation 7:4 states 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel will be saved. The Jewish population in Israel is at 7.145 million. By the prophecies of Revelation, it is 144,000 thousand of God's elect who will accept Jesus - the Lamb of Mount Zion who sealed them. Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
  • Isn't figuring out the Bible fun? David was King of Israel. However Jesus came much later. Also Jews did not recognize Jesus as savior. Hence the reason they've been enslaved and almost exterminated. lol

Thanks for sharing! I couldn't agree more, the Jews don't recognize Jesus as their Savior. David remains their king. They are still waiting for their messiah. The Bible describes this messiah as the anti-Christ who will take a seat in the Temple of God, (the Jewish Temple of Mount Zion) when it gets rebuilt. He will say he is God. • 1 Kings 12:16 So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.******** Was Jeroboam David? So why did they refer to him as David? It does not mean the particular man David but the Davidic monarchy. ****Psalm 122:5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
