True. Your question is based on John 15:19, The Love of The World. That's why certain people get alienized for not blending in with society. Christians often get viciously confronted and called the cops on for handing out Christian pamphlets in public places. But if other people go around in public places and hand out flyers for concert events, new restaurants, pub openings, iPhone specials and anything else that is not affiliated with the Bible, and people will love them.
-
False. I know I belong to the world but there are people in the world who will either like or dislike me and the same goes for everyone else. If you mean people of the world, I choose to be myself rather than be victim of peer pressure by groups of people who can be psychological bullies. They don’t allow for head space. Those type of people know nothing of showing they like someone properly because psychological bullies are ugly on the inside. I’m better off being with those who respect me as an individual and I advise others to be themselves and not be with the wrong crowd.

𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Quote: "there are people in the world who will either like or dislike me" The word "will" in your sentence is expressing future tense. Is there a *reason* people dislike you in the present? -
Shadow Of The Mind What I mean to say is there are people who like me and others dislike me. It’s not a future tense. It’s actually present so I’m correcting my main answer. That’s just how things are though because not everyone gets along in the world. There are people who dislike me for who I am while others do like me. It’s the reality with people. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ I can only go by what is seen in your writing. Therefore, the word "will" in your sentence is a verb for future tense. Since you admit to correct your answer, what I'm asking here, (which I'm still waiting for answer), why do people dislike you? -
Shadow Of The Mind I don’t know why some people don’t like me even though we don’t know each other that much. Usually the eyes say a lot as they would give an evil look. Maybe they are jealous of something about me. I am liked and respected by the people I work with, family and selective friends. I focus on those who like me rather than think of those who dislike me. I wish I knew why anyone would dislike me. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ You said it yourself, you don't know why people don't like you. A "maybe" is a possibility, but not an actual fact. What we have here, you are speculating on something that could be True or False. -
Shadow Of The Mind That is true I’m speculating as to why they may not like me. If anyone does not like me for whatever reason unknown to me, I will stay away from them and focus on those who do like me. It’s better to be around people who are respectful instead of being with those who will put me down mentally. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ You have confirmed that you are speculating. Now the questioner by the name of Vampire and any other AB'ers passing by can know exactly how you feel. BTW, those people who have given you an evil look, suppose they are jealous of you as you say does not mean they dislike you, since obviously they don’t know you well to develop a hate towards you. It just means they want what you have, even if it takes stealing it. -
Shadow Of The Mind I know I am misunderstood by some people in general. Usually when some people come across a person they don’t understand, they will feel a dislike towards that person because they are intolerant of differences in others. It is true that those who I speak of do not know me well enough. People who want to steal what someone has are wrongdoers and don’t think about what they are doing is wrong. I understand what you’re saying. In relation to the main question being asked, I belong to Earth the same as every living thing but not to be in a group who have that “be one of us” way of thinking. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ That's the whole point, you can't be *certain* if people hate you. One of the frequent causes of miscommunication is that people misunderstand each other. A one way thinking does not apply to me. It applies to the Jehovah's Witnesses. They are not allowed to think for themselves. -
Shadow Of The Mind Everyone is entitled to think for themselves because each individual has their own mind. There are those who don’t understand that. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Just like me who answers all sorts of questions, I'm not a church-goer, I watch horror movies and I am open-minded to learn new things. For those who don't understand, they have been brainwashed. -
Shadow Of The Mind Similar to yourself, I like to ask a wide range of questions. I have a large collection of DVDs most of which are horror movies. I consider myself open minded and listen to different people as to where they come from in what they say. It’s good to learn new things and to exercise the brain. Of course people are brainwashed who don’t understand someone because their minds have been filled with bull$hit and lies as they allow others to mess with their head. That’s what makes them lack understanding in people because their minds are on cloud nine. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ I also have a large collection of DVD's, in particular horror as I've mentioned the horror movie subject. Not only that, I have a large collection of CD albums. I listen to Pop, Rock, Classical, Oldies, Eurodance, you name it. I even celebrate Halloween. By the third week of September all the way to October 31, I will only be watching horror movies. Other religious people who are brainwashed would not agree with me. They say I shouldn't mix light with darkness. But I have told them, I see horror movies as a form of entertainment. -
Shadow Of The Mind You are right that horror movies are a form of entertainment. Movies originate from the director’s imagination therefore what the viewer is seeing is not real because of the images created with the use of technology. I have loads of CDs as well. I listen to a wide range of pop, rock, reggae, dance, jazz, funk, blues and classical. Horror movies can be watched any time of the year but some people wait around Halloween time to watch them. I like to horrors at Halloween as well as other genres of movies as I like to be open minded and explore different movies. I like Halloween but I don’t like those things that go bang and making dogs bark from the sound. I like it when people dress up for Halloween in costumes and makeup. Horror movies do make good entertainment for Halloween and as I mentioned, they can be watched any time of the year. I’m not religious at all so I understand what you’re saying. I don’t like to talk about the topic of religion because usually when I speak my mind about it, there are people who like to get into arguments with me and I don’t like to argue so we can talk about other things like some of the things we have in common. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Horror movies cannot hurt the strong-minded, but only the weak-minded who get carried away by losing control of their behavior. Music is an important source of entertainment and can be heard anywhere through various sources. Yep, I wear a Halloween costume. It is almost a tradition for me to watch Halloween movies throughout the month of October. I just like to get an early start on the third week of September. As for religious people who argue, it is best to avoid them, since it is a never-ending argument. -
Shadow Of The Mind Every point you make is true. Halloween should be fun and not get carried away by horror movies like some people do and they end up killing someone over something they saw in a horror movie. The only way to have proper peace is to find it from within without feeling conflicted. There is a certain user on Answerbag who has argued with me many times and I try to talk them out of it. In fact, this user I speak of has argued with many other users including yourself. Do you know who I mean? They embarrass themselves. This user needs to get their act together and they are better off alone. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Weak-minded people can easily get inspired by horror movies and anything negative to become copycats. Our mind controls our actions. Every point I make is based on being open-minded. Open-mindedness involves being receptive to a wide variety of ideas, arguments and information. Which is why being open-minded is generally considered a positive quality. I don't know which user has argued with you many times. I might have an idea, since it includes myself. Answerbag is not a very user-friendly site. -
Shadow Of The Mind That is true about Answerbag not being user-friendly. I agree that open mindedness is a positive quality. Open mindedness is about exploring different things and having an awareness and understanding in different people’s opinions and views. Shallow minded people lack in insight, meaning, understanding and short in empathy. The good thing about being open minded is being in tune with nature and being down to Earth. That’s a quality I admire. When someone is down to Earth, they are their own person rather than be someone who they are not. As for weak minded individuals, they believe in almost anything they see on the screen. Most of what is on the television is fantasy except for certain nature programs without the CGI effects. Some people who do wrong things don’t think about their actions and that’s what makes them either dangerous or a threat. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Answerbag has never been so user-friendly. Hostility or aggression is a behavior, often the direct result of anger that has gone unchecked. Answerbag does encourage discussions, just as long as discussions don't get out of control. After all, Q&A sites are about exchanging ideas. Open-mindedness is to consider ideas and opinions that are new or different to your own, and open-minded people find learning in everything. So there is no difference in how we perceive having an open mind. Weak-minded people known as people who have a victim mentality frequently suffer through trauma or hard times. That's why I was curious to ask if you know anyone in the present who dislikes you. -
Shadow Of The Mind Some discussions on Answerbag do go out of control among some users based on what they write. I do listen to different ideas and opinions from different people and that's what makes me open minded. It's good to learn from people. I remain unsure as to why anyone dislikes me. I never experienced trauma but I do go through a hard time from a certain family member which makes my life difficult but I know how to have an open mind at the same time if that makes sense. Q&A sites are good for sharing information, experiences, awareness and for discussing likes and interests in common. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ All it takes is one misplaced word, assumptions or attacking people's beliefs to start a discussion on Answerbag. For others, argumentation aims to gain adherence from an audience meaning, they are users who want attention. I don't seek attention, rather a clarification from your answer in which you were able to clarify. Listening is an act of empathy. It gains communication skills. A feeling is just an emotional state. Hate is to be biased against people or groups. I don't agree with your answer, being there is no one you can mention who dislikes you, but that does not mean I hate you because I disagree. On this other user in whom you said you have argued with this person a lot, that also means the user disagrees with you. -
Shadow Of The Mind I think some Answerbag users like attention rather than listen to each other. There can be plenty of negativity and ignorance in people’s answers and comments on Answerbag. I see Answerbag as a way of sharing each other’s stories, experiences, information, influences, some humour, knowledge, opinions and views. There are those who like to join Answerbag either to get attention or spread their negativity. They often don’t listen to what others say if it’s a useful and informative answer and that’s their loss. I know this user I speak of disagrees with everything I say because they are unreasonable or ignorant. I know I’m not perfect and that I make mistakes the same as everyone else but I’m willing to listen and learn from others. I know this user tends to disagree and argue not just with me but others as well. I don’t like arguing with anyone. I just want peace and head space in my life. Not forcing my views on anyone, I encourage others to find their inner peace instead of being at war with themselves and others around them. Treat others as you want to be treated with respect. Unfortunately in reality some people are conflicted and lack in respect, empathy and understanding since they can be victims of the wrongdoings of others. There will always be misunderstandings in people in general because of miscommunication. Generally speaking, not everyone in the world gets along due to incompatibility and ignorance. Communication is supposed to be mutual but understand that there are some people who have communication difficulties which is not their fault because they may have autism depending where they are on the spectrum. I think everyday should have an autism awareness and not just certain days of the year because it’s about respecting differences. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Usually an attention seeker may have a personality disorder. I am quite aware of users' lack of knowledge. When sharing answers, and if the exchange is done well, users on both sides of the table benefit. But poor communication is a breakdown that results from a discrepancy or disconnect between what is said and what is understood. The user you don't get along with could be a miserable person, and may not find joy in life, no matter what the situation is. Not everyone in the world gets along (due to), miscommunication and misunderstandings, but it still doesn't mean people hate others because they disagree with them. The term hate is an act that incites hatred toward people on the basis of verbal abuse, physical assault and incitement to hatred. I agree it's about respecting differences, although anyone will agree too that we are in every position to engage with users when a clarification is needed. -
Shadow Of The Mind It is a mutual conversation when users share answers and comments that are successful due to compatibility and sometimes like mindedness. Being aware of people’s different intelligences is to be mindful of them when communicating. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ We both know Answerbag is a place that lets users ask questions, receive answers and engage in comments from anyone who is willing and knowledgeable enough to reply. I am mindful of everything you say. Are you suffering from autism? Out of the active users in the present of 2023, I have seen you and a user by the name of bostjan64 speak of it, saying that some of us on Answerbag suffer from it, not to say you and bostjan64 are the same person. To make some comparisons, are these your Answerbag accounts? https://www.answerbag.com/profile/axe77 https://www.answerbag.com/profile/shaky-1991 -
Shadow Of The Mind I don’t mean to say for you to be mindful. I’m referring to people in general. I only have one account on Answerbag in which I like to be known as Shadow Of The Mind. I never said that people on Answerbag suffer from autism. You have me confused with someone else. Bostjan64 is a user who I communicated with a few times but not about Answerbag users suffering from autism. I know you are a mindful person based on your comments and I appreciate that. The annoying thing about Answerbag website is when someone provides a link, it is difficult to select all of the text on a mobile phone. The text on the link trails off the screen and that it’s impossible to select all of the text on the phone. I think the Answerbag team should sort that out but I might as well talk to a wall with them. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ I'm using myself as a great example that I am mindful of everything you are saying, as well as what others say. People in general have lost the plot. There is too much confusion in the world, because of miscommunication and misunderstandings as I made clear. I did not say you said other Answerbaggers suffer from autism, but that (you and another user have mentioned it) from the only users I have seen speak of autism. It came to mind to ask you. Also, I am asking a simple question if you are those 2 users in the links I added out of curiosity. If you can't copy and paste a link using a mobile phone, you can select a link by pressing on it with your finger for a second or two, and then press open in your options. The link will open in your browser. -
Shadow Of The Mind I appreciate you being mindful. That is so true about people in general losing the plot and loads of people in the world confuse themselves as well as confusing others around them. I’m neither of the other 2 users. I only have the one account on Answerbag just to confirm that. I did ask a question regarding autism a while back: http://answerbag.com/q_view/3527574 -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Yes, we have to be mindful in order to increase the ability to make controlled, conscious and thoughtful decisions. These days, disinformation is a quick and fairly cheap way to destabilize societies. On the link you shared regarding your question of autism, you received 1 answer so far. Linda Joy thinks you have autism. bostjan64 once said there are some of us here (Answerbag) who suffer from autism. I have a feeling you are suffering from autism. But then again, it's just a feeling. -
Shadow Of The Mind People who are careful with words they use are mindful of others and not being offensive and hurtful. I asked that question on autism a good while back. Some people have a problem with autistic people and give them a hard time if they get the chance to take advantage of them. People who think there is something wrong with autism are the ones with a problem. Autism is difference in a person and how the brain is wired differently to others. Usually people in a world of their own will not understand autistic people. Autistic people are probably more in tune with the world than others and that’s why there is people who don’t understand autism. Some people think autism is a disability but I see it as a condition with autistic people on the 3 different levels of the spectrum (low autism, medium autism and high autism). I have read about autism for many years both on the internet and in books. It’s interesting to learn from. Any respectful person will be able to tolerate others regardless of their differences. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Oh, I'm very careful with the words I use. That's why I didn't imply you suffer from autism, but that I just have a feeling. Even when making assumptions in our posts, we must be sure first if an assumption appears to be the case. Any wrong assumptions, and arguments will occur. I understand some people have a problem with autistic people. Know this, it's a dog-eat-dog world. We all take advantage of others in any way we can for our benefit, whether it be in a good way for a bargain or by human nature of feeling superior by rank, wealth, intelligence and etc. I did not find the need to answer your question of autism in the link. Other people have enough problems of their own. -
Shadow Of The Mind Did you ever hear of this: assume means making an “ass” out of “u” and “me”. I remember hearing that a long time ago in a training course. Sometimes when a person assumes something, they could be right or they could be wrong. Assume is a guess. I think it’s wrong to take advantage of anyone even if it means personal gain or to feel better about oneself. Taking advantage of someone is a form of bullying. It is true each individual has problems of their own since nobody is perfect and that each individual makes mistakes. Personal problems on the other hand is something to be aware of and to be able to get support and help if needed. I address to everyone. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ The word "assume" should only be used if you are certain it is the case. For example: "We can assume a lot of guests will come to the party." Or: "We can assume if Answerbag improves this site, more people will join." See what I mean? If I say, I assume a certain user is crazy or guilty, then it is just a matter of time for an argument to start. -
Shadow Of The Mind I know what you mean. When the asker of the question on this page sees the conversation we are having, they might have something to say in response to your comment. -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ That's how it is. I'm not stating someone is crazy or guilty. Rather, it is an assumption. -
Shadow Of The Mind Are you certain “assumption” is the case? -
𝘑𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 ⭐ Yes, but without proof to make statements. -
Shadow Of The Mind I understand
