Name scratched out. 5. bostjan64. 6. Hulk. 7. The Vampire. 8. stevo 9. reviews.com. 10. dalcono 11. Black Mystique 12. Professor Yaffie. 13. Thinker. 14. notyouraveragedummy. 15. Murzy. 16. Chelsea 17. Then there's you. Army Veteran is another user I have not seen in months. There are about 20 active users, and a little over 20, counting the ones who come to this site from time to time. What about robted, Majik-1, mugwort, Mushroom, Linus van Pelt, Bella, and Kewl Guy? Has Pearl Lederman disappeared? What about Archie Bunker/HardcoreConservative? Or AskingForaFriend? Or avatar? Or TBO? Haven't seen them around for a while. I hope everybody is doing well. Haven't seen Texaseskimo in years, but I had some interesting debates with that user. Hope they are just too busy having fun to log in. -

Now, I do know who Mushroom, Bella, Kewl Guy, Pearl Lederman, Archie Bunker/Hardcore Conservative, AskingForaFriend, TBO and Texasescimo are, but they are no longer active on Answerbag. As for mugwort, you can't read. So I will have to ridicule you as usual. If you properly read my answer, I mentioned 17 Answerbaggers, but and I say BUT, (I also said there about 20 active users) to even count mugwort. *Facepalm* -

I got notified of the comment, then I read bostjan's answer and I decided to leave him a comment, just to let him know what the questioner wants to know. I'm trying to fight with anyone? Actually, there is nothing wrong with defending my standpoint. The facepalms I'm giving you are not outdated. I have been giving facepalms back in 2017, and until the present. They are affecting your brain, knowing you have been fighting with DancesWithWolves, as well as the questioner by the name of Shadow Of The Mind, stevo, Bootsiebaby and probably more users. Really, you're the one picking fights. -

This site has existed in one form or another for well over a decade, but I'd say that a great deal of the questions/answers/users from that long ago are no longer active on the new site with the new format. Active users here are probably two dozen or less, but, historical users, there are thousands, maybe even tens of thousands. It's a little difficult to tell, since users used to change their user names regularly and users are not numerically indexed.

You had no idea if Shadow was asking for past or present users. He said "Now," that's what my original answer is based on. bostjan64 who answered third should have noticed it, but he didn't. What was edited does not matter. What is being displayed in a question/answer/comment is what matters to the AB'ers reading. -

Linda Joy, if you could read well, then you will see in my original answer that I mentioned the users who have made a name for themselves, including a few more from my list of 20. Anyone else such as ringy, dingy and doink who signed up last month or last week and were never seen again are not worthy to be counted.

To share another answer: if we were to count the new users with a low amount of questions and answers, there will be many of them. Most of them are curious to ask a question or two, and they don't return to this site again. Staying consistent on Answerbag is how you know acknowledge the active users.

Not exactly, you don't know every newcomer on Answerbag. The active users are the ones that come to this site almost on a daily basis. The many users you refer to are nobodies. To be someone, users have to make a name for themselves by being consistent on this site.
