Do you have toothaches where a tooth was pulled?

I had a badly infected tooth once. The dentist gave me an injection to reduce the pain. It did not help. He pulled it and It was the second worst pain I ever had. I never went back to a dentist again. It's been 40 years. Now I just let 'em rot.
