Malwarebytes attacks Advanced System Care, wiping it out as a PUP.
  • Advanced System Care has some pretty good tools that go along with it, but it can't be on the same drive as Malwarebytes - Malwarebytes will eat it for lunch. I've used Malwarebytes a couple of times but it never finds anything. Maybe that's good, but I can't believe it never picks up anything. I prefer SpyHunter. They're a subscription service, but with a little finagling, you can come up with a free version. The free version only locates problems, it doesn't get rid of them. You have to learn how to follow the links into your file system and eliminate the issues manually. It doesn't take a genius - with a little practice it's easy.
