Why can't I change my avatar here even after I make it even smaller than the Chuckie Cheese?

How small IS Chuckie's Cheese then? (Oh thought this was a riddle :D ) Maybe that's still not small enough OR maybe it's an incompatible type of picture. I don't think gifs will work for one..

Rick Myres When I changed my picture to the cat it was a lot smaller than the Chuckie Cheese. I was finally able to use it. Then when I decided to use the picture to my real image it was large as when I took it. So it may have been a glitch in the system.
