    to me, no.....but then I'm an 'older guy'......I can see what you're trying to convey, but it just doesn't do it.....at least not for me...... when something is 'trendy',,,,,,,you'd think the 'istic'. suffix would be a good one, but for me it's not..... Just to throw stuff out there......'TRENDER........TRENDIFIC'..........gads I'm really grabbing at straws!! what you can do is go to a thesaurus either online or an actual book, and look up what words it offers as alternatives to 'trend' or 'trendy'.. if you don't know what a thesaurus is, your'e in for a treat!! if you do, by all means consult one.....will give you many great ideas!! and please excuse the stuff I suggested; I'm an 'old guy'......LOL' Best of luck to you!!!
