So you are a private person. Are you private about others?
People are good in tell who they are but can they do the same for others. So being a private person also means to be private about others or that a double standard rule.

Obviously not completely private or I would not be here on AB discussing my sexuality and sex life. Which I think should be discussed freely and openly even though they are private matters. I try to be discreet and do not name names in talking about the behavior of people. OK I will admit I do talk honestly about my husband but never reveal our last name except occasionally in private chats.
