12-05-2016 Ok, so Brits say "washing-up" and Yanks say "dish washing". I bought a half gallon bottle of Formula 409 and I refill the spray bottle when it runs out. I have a half gallon size of Ajax for the same purpose. Other than that, non-spray bottles go in the trash.

http://instructables.com/ has two pieces on how to reuse plastics. They are not very encouraging.

The only thing I've done with them was to rinse them out and toss them into the recycle bin. But from there I'm sure they were made into hundreds of other things.
