  • Home Run I think.... just go here http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/official_info/umpires/ground_rules.jsp
  • yeah I think so...oops this was supposed to be a comment
  • Its a base hit not a homerun
  • the second guy that answerd is an idiot if it goes above the yellow line in fair territory [the pole is fair territory] its a home run
  • It all depends on the ground rules for the stadium. For example, in Jacobs field it is still in play, but at Comerica Park it is a home run.
  • it is definitely a homerun.
  • http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/official_info/umpires/ground_rules.jsp Same web site, but it definately says, "All yellow lines are in play" saying that a ball off the yellow line on the fence bouncing back into play is a live ball and NOT a homerun. Sure if the ball goes over the line or hits and bounces over the line, then it's a home run, but not if it bounces back in play.
  • out if someone catches it!
  • everyone answer this, if the ball bounces of the wall, an then caught, is it out? well of course it isn't, because the wall is consitered apart of the ground right? is the yellow line part of the wall? well yes it is correct, because the yellow line is just a guide, the wall is still the wall weather there is advertisement or a yellow line on it. so if the yellow line is part of the wall, an the wall is part of the ground, this means that the yellow line on the top half of the wall is part of the ground, an a homerun cannot be scored if the ball hits the ground first. so if the ball hits the yellow line on the top of the wall in the outfield in fair territory an lands back in the ball park, is it a fair ball! if the ball hits the yellow line and falls outside the ball park, it is ruled as a gounrd-rule-double. -James
  • If it hits the foul pole or an extension of the pole it is a home run.
  • FAIR BALL AND IS LIVE
