50 is over the hill, that will change soon, I am 47. When I was 25 over the hill was 35. When I was 35 over the hill was 45. Thinking I might adjust to 60 soon as being over the hill.
-
30 or 31 is definatly not over the hill! I am 32 and feel more alive now then I did when I was younger. I think the day you need adult diapers is when you become over the hill.
-
I've always thought of over the hill as the last half of your life. 55 perhaps (with medicine the way it is). I'd say at 25 you start to deteriorate. For some reason I picture 24 as the ultimate in health and strength.
-
I'm 33 and not near over the hill, over the hill is when you start to decrepid... I'd say in the 60s at the very least, some people never do.
-
Dead is over-the-hill. Anything else has still got possibilities.
-
Over the hill is always a few years ahead of what you are...LOL (I am 50 and it's definitely older than that! )
-
I am 39 and don't consider myself over the hill yet. I would have to say being in your 60's as a closer number to your question.
-
It can't be my age(I am over 50)I still feel like a kid so how about around 90ish?
-
35 (mid-thirties) was more traumatic for me than thirty. Forty was easy.
-
Heck, 30 is barely out of puberty, much less "over the hill" knock it off, you young whippersnapper... (yeah, I'm 40.)
-
over the hill is always "next year" no matter what age you are!
-
I'm 32 and hardly over the hill. Tht'll happen when I'm dead.
-
i'm 49 and still can't see the top of the hill.
-
What comes to mind are skateboarders with gray hair and leather skin...
-
30 - you no longer look or can act like a kid by any means. But it's 35 when things are beginning to go downhill, physically/looks-wise anyway. Definitely by 40. After this time, it's all attitude. :-)
-
I'm in my early 30s an I am not over the hill by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just getting started.
-
Well I wouldn't want to think that way ... and I am 29 :-) !
-
You're kidding, right? 30 isn't anything like over the hill. My grandma always said you're not old until you admit you're old. She lived to be 98 and people even at the end thought she was in her 70s. (I'm 28, and not afraid to get older... but never intend to get "over the hill".)
-
Huh. I always thought that the "over the hill" theme was relegated to your 50th birthday party....... I do not consider 30 OR 31 to be "over the hill". I'm 29 and sometimes it feels like my life is just getting started. If I thought it was all down hill from here I think I'd just throw in the towel right this very minute.
-
I was young too. Wish I knew then what I know now. I declare over the hill is when they shut the coffin!!
-
I am 41, and I just got to the top of the hill, and I plan on staying up here for a while, so maybe 50, would be over the hill.
-
and what age are you? you confess first! over hill can be any age when a person gives up on living. and starts to feel old and losing their ambition to better themselves in any way.
-
50. It's all mind set, feel old be old. 30 can be over the hill if you live your life like it is. I know my grandpa was 70 before he was over the hill.
-
I think you are over the hill when you stop enjoying life.
-
Nah... 30's when you are finally all warmed up.
-
nope, down in the valley
-
No, dear. I'm 67 and haven't gotten to the top yet!
-
Hardly. 30 should be the best time of your life. You should have emotional maturity, your appearance should be fully blossomed, and you should be a decent conversationalist. Worry about 60. LOL
-
I hope not...that would mean that I am more than half way down the other side.
-
Yes.
-
HA-HA-HA-HA...ROTFF! That's so far back I can't even remember it! Somebody pass me my Aricept and walker, please. God, I need a drink on that one! :-)
-
For some athletic competitions, yes, but for John Doe citizen, probably not. I wouldn't worry about it, the "Hill" seems to move as you get older. When you are twenty, the "Hill" is at thirty, but by the time you get to thirty, it's moved to forty! And so on!
-
Only one third of the day up the hill
-
No way. Your still climbing up the hill at thirty.... hopefully more mature & secure in who you are and what your doing.
-
No, 50 is the new 30.
-
No way. That is still YOUNG!
-
You might get a bit out of breath after repeating this anniversary a few times; but hey there are still records waiting to be broken! :]
-
I'm still lookin pretty decent at 38. The ol' man's got some jam left.
-
over the hill is 50 and don't trust anyone over 30
-
If 31 is over the hill, then I'm rolling down the hill and about to land face first in the river. LOL I'm 35.
-
I'm in my FIFTIES! One doesn't start getting the "black" birthday candles and candy "epitaph" on their cake until their FORTIETH birthday; the 'BIG 4-0'! BEFORE that age. . . . . .phft! You're still a "kid" in my book!
-
Age isn't so much a factor. I've seen 18 year old over the hill couch potatoes. And seniors doing marathons.
