  • I tried Mapquest, and it couldn't find one.
  • No.... Hadleyville in the film GungHo!!! was a fictitious town. The scenes where filmed in several locations...... Beaver, Pennsylvania, USA Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, USA (river scenes) Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Rosario, Argentina (plant interior and some exteriors) Tokyo, Japan Hadleyville was intended to represent the average factory town, in the United States. these towns were the Backbone of U.S. stength. and unless we ALL try NOW to bring them back into the United States. The U.S. itself will continue to suffer the same fate as so many factory towns!! The American Dream has Left the country folk. time to get back to exporting Products not Jobs. I just hope It is not Too Late.
  • This movie although a comedy was quite prophetic considering that most of the manufacturing jobs have now left the USA. Considering the State of the economy today, this was very, very short-sighted. There is no Hadleyville, PA, I am from PA and most of the old manufacturing towns have gone completely belly-up. It is sad that America has gone from a manufacturing based economy to a mostly completely service based economy. Think of how many folks you know personally and observe how many of them are in a service based job? Lawyers, waitresses, nurses, customer service reps, insurance folks, and the list goes on and on. We don't create anything anymore except paperwork, customer service or food jobs. Very sad.
