Burgundy is a dark shade of reddish purple. When choosing a wall color to go with burgundy furniture, you should consider choosing a complementary color. Complementary colors are two colors from opposite sides of the color wheel. Reds and greens complement each other to create a dramatic look. You may want to paint your walls a shade of green.
On the Other: Neutrals will make it pop
Burgundy already is a bold furniture color. Adding green to the room may make too bold of a statement. Consider painting the room with a white or neutral color. This color will allow the burgundy furniture to really pop in the room. If you are proud of your furniture, painting your wall an earthy tan or white will help you show it off.
