Yep. The Karen Carpenter (1950-83) rendition of "SLEIGH RIDE." No one before or since, has ever done it as well as Karen. I still miss her, lots. She and her brother Richard did all of the background vocalizing on all of their songs, using a 16-track mixer, which was pioneered by the late musical innovator and creative genius, Les Paul (1915-2009). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUtY70GvCxM And as long as I have your attention, please permit me to make a shameless plug for one of my favorite charities, if you don't mind too much: "The Carpenter Family Foundation is a perpetual source of financial funding for causes ranging from medical to arts and entertainment to education. The Carpenter Family Foundation was established to help build a better environment for our children and better health care for families, as well as contributing to our creative enjoyment. There is nothing more rewarding than helping with research, educational programs or the important business of helping young people achieve their dreams. "The Carpenter Family Foundation believes that people helping people is what gives us our greatest personal reward."
