Excluding labor to remove and reinstall a transmission in a Dodge Ram truck, parts to renew a transmission will cost $175 to $250. Other parts may be required, such as a clutch drum, input shaft or other "hard part," if damaged. Labor to dis-assemble, clean and re-assemble will cost between $200 and $600 depending on the reputation of the rebuilder. Extended warranties will increase the price, as will labor to remove and reinstall the transmission.
