  • The absolutely correct answer is debatable. For a complete circuit, you need a voltage source, a load, a "source" or "feed" conductor, and a "return" conductor or "ground". Some people may say that the two conductors that connect the source to the load do not qualify as two separate parts. Some people will say that the "4th part" is some sort of control device (like a switch) but this is not necessary to qualify as a circuit.
