  • I've always maintained that the plot writing in Harry Potter is uniformly brilliant. It may not be totally original, and it is sometimes predictable, but it is always interesting. The language is horrific, however. I would never read a Harry Potter book for the beauty of the writing, unlike Ursula Le Guin or Ian McEwan. And it goes without seeing that the epilogue to the last book left me seething. After all, "what happen's next" should always be a rhetorical question.
  • it's SNAPE. lol and no, it's definitely not bad writing. have you read the books?
