• Three wheels provide more stability, but they don't make the pedaling any easier. It's likely that a 3-wheeler weighs more than a 2-wheeler, so you'd probably get a BETTER workout from the 3-wheeler. I'm not sure if a 3-wheeler can go everywhere a 2-wheeler can, though. So there would definitely be situations where the 2-wheeler could require more oomph and therefore give a better workout.
