Yes I am sure that the new meadow is very often not as green or as undemanding as the original field. Women who have been Mistresses usually have trust issues because they know that the man they have stolen is a cheat and will probably do it again . Therefore they start to nag and the wife suddenly looks a better option because she was not aware that the man she loved was a cheating scuzzbag. Also there will be less money to pay for special gifts and dates. Things will become mundane.

Yeah - especially if they marry the mistress!!! One of the funniest things to me is that most guys - even guys who have been married - do not realize that wives are not just legal girlfriends or mistresses. Marriage changes the relationship, and it never goes back to the way it was before.

I'm sure it happens both ways..unfortunately we seem to think the grass is greener on the other side and find out it almost never is....if they're lucky they learn their lesson and their spouse takes them back...wonder if we'll ever learn???
