My parents have been married 52 years. I left home when I was almost 19, but stayed in the same town and visited 3 or 4 times a week. Now I'm 40 and once again living with my parents, along with my sons and boyfriend. I had nowhere to go stay when left my husband 2 years ago, and am very thankful that my parents were happy to have my sons and I. We pay our own way, and help out around the house considerably, so it's a two-way process. My parents are getting on in years, and it's nice to be around to help where we can. When we are earning enough from my business I started nearly 2 years ago, we will seriously consider moving, but will probably visit my parents very very often to make sure all is still fine.
-
Yes until I moved out when I was 19
-
I did, until one died.

Mostly my dad. My mother left in about 7th grade. Lived with him a couple of years after college too.
-
My parents got divorced when I was three years old so I never remember them living together, however my whole life was filled with both mom & dad & step parents. They all got along wonderfully & attended all of my school & life events together, which included any parties in my or my sisters honors at one anothers home. I could not of been brought up in a better or well rounded environment. I never heard a harsh word come from my biological parents or step parents about the other in fact if I ever tried to play the "their not being fair to me"card my parents defended each other & its how it should be.

Yes, I have no excuses for the way I've been.
