Hmmm, a sex act gone wrong, they say he may have accidentally killed himself while engaging in autoerotic asphyxiation. They say he had a rope around his genitals, and that he may have committed suicide. I am not a guy, but if I were to commit suicide, putting a rope around my genitals is not the way I think I would want to go out. I think he was murdered, possibly by a hooker, possibly an accident. -

I am sure he did not commit suicide,and since he was found naked,which many news reports conveniently do not mention,it was very likely accidental though some sort of sex act.

FIRST thing I thought of was CSI where they solved a case or two involving sexual asphyxiation. Now, it seems I may be right.

YEah it does seem a little suspicious... At first I thought hmmm...if it was suicide, what reasons may he have had? I don't think he was a drug abuser, and if he were terminally ill why would he do it so far away from his home, a day before scheduled to discuss a new film project? I guess it couldn't have been an autoerotic asphyxiation death since no one mentioned his yang hanging out of his yin or anything... So if it was a homicide, what were the reasons? Someone not a big fan of Kung-Fu reruns? a botched robbery? Was Carridine a spy? Did Chuck Norris do it? Considering where it happened and how information is withheld in such places, we may never know...it's a shame he went though, he was a good actor... but, I guess, suicide or not, he only had several more years left in him.

Just more sadness my friend. 72 years old and it seems he took his own life, although I'm not certain that has been proven. I always enjoyed his work and to end his life by his own hand, if that is in fact what happened, is simply too sad for words.

Most people are now going to dismiss his whole career and remember that last goodbye scene. Like the lead singer from INXS. Oh, well, at least he didn't choke anyone but himself to death, like BTK. I will remember his brilliant career.
